Went to town this arvo.
Had to go to the Warehouse and exchange my new tights. they were too small.
got some new ones and I am warm. especially in the nether regions.
are you reading this Karl?
hehehehehehehe.
got back and went to the supermarket. New World in Carterton and there was a little stall with two lovely lassies advertising a pupils music concert at the old alma mater Wairarapa College.
The concert is in aid of World Vision so hurry on up.
Much more emphasis on music in schools these days.
When I was there the music teacher tried to teach us the rudiments of reading music without any music.
dumb.
what would twenty 14 year old schoolboys want to do with a hemi demi semi demi quaver!
he gave up. now the kids are learning jazz piano and allsorts of stuff.
be there or be square....
Had to agree with martin van beynen in the Dompost this a.m. about the nzarmy taking some guns to school.
his thesis (he is a public intellectual) was that kids can handle it if there are no bullets and furthermore that kids character would be altered by the sight of a gun and they would get weird ideas.
Yeah right. he put his finger on it when he claimed that there is an element in NZ society that cries wolf over anything and everything.
There sure is.
and now BInglish is claiming there were no Gore Tapes.
well if that is the case why did barclay resign?
